Why Day & Night?

Privacy and daylight, on speaking terms.

Shape the daylight

Shift the layered bands to diffuse bright sun, reduce glare or reveal more of the view.

Bring privacy into place

Overlap the opaque sections for stronger screening without rolling the whole blind away.

Fit the window your way

Keep compatible frames clear with Perfect Fit or cover a wider opening with a free-hanging blind.

Make it feel like home

Choose from more than 100 fabric and colour combinations, from quiet neutrals to deeper tones.

How they work

Two layers. More control.

The fabric travels around the blind in two layers. Line up the sheer bands for softer daylight and a more open outlook, or move the opaque bands across them for greater privacy and a darker room.

You can also raise the blind fully when you want the whole window clear — one simple system, with much more control than a standard roller.

They are not guaranteed to create complete blackout. A room-darkening fabric with the opaque bands overlapped can substantially reduce light, but the final result also depends on the fitting position and any light around the edges.

Perfect Fit sits in a slim frame attached to a compatible window or door panel and normally requires no drilling into the frame. A free-hanging blind is fixed to the wall, ceiling or recess and can cover a conventional or wider opening.

Suitability depends on the frame profile, glazing bead, seals, handles and available clearance. We check these details during measurement rather than assuming every uPVC, timber or aluminium frame is compatible.

Not on their own. When the room is lit after dark, the opaque bands should be overlapped for stronger screening. We can demonstrate the different positions and fabric openness during your appointment.

They can suit many wider windows and glazed openings. The available width depends on the selected system, fabric and operating limits, which we confirm after measuring.
